A 1963 mahogany boat for your wedding day in Venice. Not a fleet, not a taxi — one small varnished boat, the bride and groom, and the canals in between.
THE IDEA
The quietest ten minutes of the day
A wedding in Venice is a long day of people. The crossing from the ceremony to the reception is usually the only moment you get alone, and on a boat this small it actually is alone: you sit low, the engine is quiet, and the city moves past at walking pace.
BELLA takes three people. She is for the two of you, or the two of you and a photographer — never the whole party. Your guests take the taxis; you take the boat.
WHEN WE COME IN
Four moments we can cover
Book us for one of them or for the whole day. We work around your planner and your photographer, and we know how long each stretch of water really takes.
The arrival
Pulling up to the church or the palazzo in a varnished boat instead of stepping off a pontoon. It is the first photograph of the day and usually the one that ends up framed.
The crossing
Ceremony to reception, the two of you, no guests and no schedule to keep except your own. We can take the direct route or the long one — most couples ask for the long one.
The photo hour
An hour on the water with your photographer once the formal part is done. Narrow canals, low sun, no crowd in the background — the boat gets into places a bigger one cannot.
The day after
Dress back on, nobody waiting, the city still half asleep. The calmest session of the whole wedding, and the easiest one to book at short notice.
One boat, one wedding a day
We do not run two weddings in the same afternoon. If your date is free it is yours, and we hold the whole day around it — because nothing on a wedding day ever starts exactly on time.

BEFORE YOU BOOK
What you should know
Three people, no exceptions
BELLA is 4,5 metres. Bride, groom and one more — a photographer, a witness, a child. If you need to move guests, we can point you to the right people for that.
Dresses and small boats
Long trains work, but they need a hand getting aboard and a dry place to sit. Send us a photo of the dress in advance and we prepare the boat for it.
Weather and tide
An open boat depends on the weather. If the forecast turns we tell you the evening before and agree a plan together — we would rather move you than take you out in the rain.
Book early
One boat, one wedding a day, and Venice has a short season. Saturdays between May and September usually go a year ahead.

Check your date
Pick the wedding date and send the request. It opens WhatsApp with everything already written — we reply with availability and a quote.
